“La Grotta di Babbo Natale” (Santa’s Cave) is undoubtedly one of the most well-known events in Italy. The entertainment and live performances scheduled for the event are set in 20,000 square metres of parkland surrounded by woods, with a spectacular view over Lake Maggiore and Lake Mergozzo.
But in Ornavasso, the main attraction is Santa Claus himself, who waits for the children inside the ancient marble cave at the end of a 200-metre tunnel carved through the mountain. Children will be fascinated by the fairytale atmosphere created by the imposing marble hall. They will be allowed to deliver their letter personally to Santa and his Twergi and take a photo with them.
Ornavasso’s “Santa’s Cave” hosts a long list of events, like the visit to the reindeer park, workshops and many other activities.
