‘Sentieri e Pensieri‘, which was first held in 2013 as a fringe event of the Turin International Book Fair, is a hugely popular summer event in Santa Maria Maggiore in Vigezzo Valley, and is just one of the many festivals in Italy dedicated to the publishing industry.
Packed with opportunities to see and listen to leading names in literature, culture, sport and entertainment, Sentieri e Pensieri is one of the best-loved cultural events of Ossola Valley, under the prestigious guidance of Bruno Gambarotta, celebrated author, journalist and TV and radio presenter, and artistic director for the event.
Presentations of new releases, which welcome the most renowned authors of Italian literature to the Sentieri e Pensieri stage every year, together with music, street shows and free-entry art exhibitions, all take place in Piazza Risorgimento, in the heart of the old town centre or in the Community Theatre.
