“Tappia di Vino” is an itinerary that takes visitors on a journey to discover the flavours and specialities of the region, with a particular focus on local wine; the event is set in Tappia, a charming hamlet built of stone in Villadossola, a few kilometers from Domodossola. The event entails a unique non-competitive walk that takes visitors along mule tracks, paths and dirt roads as part of an itinerary covering roughly three kilometres that combines nature with food and wine. On signing up for the event, each participant will be given a wine glass to try the local wine, accompanied by delicious local produce, at the various pit stops along the way.
Tappia di Vino is organised by the grassroots organisation of this village and provides a unique opportunity to spend a day outdoors to enjoy traditional architecture paired with typical produce of the Val d’Ossola.
