The improvised music event, DomoJazz, first held in 2017 on initiative of the Domodossola Town Council Cultural Division, puts on a spectacular display of artistic skill, sure to be the delight of both lovers of jazz and improvised live music.
DomoJazz concerts are free entry and are held every month in the stately Mellerio chapel in Piazza Rovereto, in the old town centre of Domodossola. From January to November, famous musicians and young talents making a name for themselves in the world of jazz take to the stage, in collaboration with acclaimed musicians hailing from all Ossola Valley.
Specially for the DomoJazz season, artists can play the piano that belonged to the famous Domodossola composer, Carlo Ravasenga in the last century.
