First held in 2016, the Autumn Carnival is organized every year by the Pulenta e Sciriuii Carnival Committee, with the sponsorship of Domodossola Town Council. Bringing the town of Domodossola to life in early autumn, the event boasts a winning formula of entertainment, sport, music and local culinary delights; the main ingredients of the Autumn Carnival.
The town squares of the cultural capital host many sport events and tournaments, which span several sports, from volleyball, basketball, football, tennis to dancing, mountain biking, judo and much more.
Having lunch at the carnival, with steaming plates of polenta, cooked in the copper vats by the Pulenta e Sciriuii Committee and served with sausages or gorgonzola cheese, is an absolute must.
The afternoon gives way to games and workshops for children, shows, performances and live music concerts which liven up the old town centre of Domodossola for an exciting Autumn Carnival end.
