For one week in the summer, the town of Domodossola turns into the capital of science, hosting “Domoschool – International Alpine School of Mathematics and Physics”. This special summer school brings together scientists, professors, researchers and students from all over the world, who come every year to explore a different subject area. Lessons take place at the Collegio Mellerio Rosmini di Domodossola and alternate between recreational activities and free time, offering attendees the chance to visit the Ossola Valley and discover all its unique characteristics and traditions. Some of the Domoschool conferences are open to the public, and provide visitors a unique and privileged opportunity to get up close to some of the most prominent names of science.
Organised with the valuable collaboration of Domodossola Town, the Associazione Ars.Uni.VCO and the Università dell’Insubria of Varese for the first time in July 2018, Domoschool is a regular and prestigious event set in the Borgo della Cultura of the Ossola Valley’s cultural capital.
