The Ossola Trail, starts and finishes in Mergozzo, a picturesque little town awarded the Touring Club Italiano Orange Flag, overlooking the picturesque lake named after it. It comprises two different trails:
– 16 km race with a 800 metre elevation gain
-33 km race with a 2.100 metre elevation gain
The pleasant spring temperatures and the view over Lake Mergozzo are features greatly appreciated by the hundreds of participants who choose to challenge themselves in this satisfying trail.
