The Val Brevettola Skyrace is one of the most appreciated skyrunning races in Ossola Valley, an exciting 21 km run through the Antrona Valley, alternating technical stretches with others that are definitely more simple and suitable even for non-professional athletes.
The Val Brevettola Skyrace, starting from Montescheno, has an elevation gain of around 1800 metres and reaches Alpe Ogaggia, Alpe Vauzone, and then ascends to the Saudera Pass.
This trail race through the Antrona Valley, included in the VCO Top Race circuit, was first held in 2016 in memory of two young men from the Antrona Valley who met an untimely death; it is organised with great passion and love for this sport and for this as yet little-known Ossola valley.
