Alongside the Domese Carnival, the Vigezzo Carnival is the most popular of all the carnivals in the Ossola Valley: the colourful carnival float parade, the lively dance evenings and typical local dishes are the ingredients that make up this event, painstakingly put together by volunteers from different villages united under one committee established over the years to coordinate the organisation of the Vigezzo Carnival.
The Trapula and Mariana Bela masks are symbolic icons of the Vigezzo Carnival and their smiles give lots of funny moments and light-hearted entertainment to the entire Valle dei Pittori.
