Typically a winter cliff in the Ossola Valley, it can also be visited in autumn and spring if it’s not too warm. It’s a beautiful, panoramic and safe place. The rock is a kind of dark red Gneiss that requires technical, precision climbing.
The cliff has climbs ranging from 5c to 7b and can be reached from the village of the same name in 20 minutes following a well-marked path. It’s not suited for rainy conditions.
How to get there: from Premosello Chiovenda, you can get to the village of Colloro, where a path takes you to the cliff.
