As part of the food festival scene in Ossola Valley, BiancoLatte is the only SagreOssola event dedicated to local cheese and high valley dairy products. The cattle market (Foro Boario) in Crodo, the main town in the Antigorio Valley, hosts the festival and its events, encouraging visitors to discover the exquisite delicacies from Alta Ossola.
The fair features authentic goat and cow’s cheeses, delicious yoghurts and other tasty dairy products, as well as autumnal fruits from local farms, wild herbs, fruits and vegetables grown in orchards and vegetable gardens, and fragrant rhododendron and chestnut honey. All this products are used by talented local chefs to create unique gourmet dishes to taste as you wander through the cattle market food fair.
Every year, BiancoLatte also organises a whole host of activities, also for children, but is mostly concerned with returning to tradition and unique flavours, now passed on with passion and expertise.
